Gerardo Coronel, corridos songwriter and exponent of the alternate movement, made his debut at the age of 14 with the song "El Guerrero". He is recognized for composing the successful corrido "La Tacoma", performed by artists like Alfredo "El Komander" Ríos, Julián Mercado and El Bebeto. After the creation of "El Guerrero", he joined a local band in Sinaloa, but opted to embark on his solo journey after two years. He recently released a new album with the standout single "Te Felicito", which has accumulated millions of plays in just months on YouTube along with his other hits.
