The idea of creating a new group came from Jesus Alberto Ordoñez Montenegro, former drummer of Canelos de Durango, who began gathering the members of the group. Thus they began this musical journey in 2014, through social networks they gave the public the opportunity to choose their artistic name, winning “Canelos Jrs”, a name they got thanks to the similarity of voices with Los Canelos de Durango. Canelos Jrs has a base of more than 150 thousand monthly listeners, originating from Culiacan Sinaloa they have productions like “El Mochomo” which counts with millions of reproductions.
