While attending Prairie View A&M University, he gained recognition through his consistent release of Facebook freestyle videos, capturing the hearts of students across Texas. His breakthrough came with the release of "What Ya Name Iz," a remarkable 9-minute freestyle, followed by the hit single "Drank In My Cup." Kirko's unique blend of Houston influences and melodic rap has solidified his place in the music industry, carving out a distinctive sound and lane for himself.
