The 9th Annual Colombian Fest/ “El Gran Festival Colombiano “of Chicago will be held on Friday, July 14th , Saturday, July 15th and Sunday, July 16th, 2023 at Northeastern Illinois University Parking Lots , 5500 N. St. Louis., Chicago IL 60625. Friday gates open 3:00 pm , Saturday and Sunday Times: 11:00 AM gates open, music programming starts 12:00 pm noon to 10:00 PM. All ages 12 and under

This grand festival every year is organized within the commemoration of the National Independence Day of Colombia, July 20th. Please feel free to wear the national team jerseys and or regional traditional outfits on Sunday, July 16th.

The Colombian Fest creates a tribute to Colombia’s history and culture, the flag, our traditions, our people as it enhances civic values and development of common identity and in which we look to have a positive impact in Chicago and the Midwest. The fest will provide a fundraising opportunity for the NEIU Foundation and ICLC, with $1.00 per ticket sold will go to create a GFC scholarship award fund and along with sharing a portion of the parking revenue from the event. Gracias de antemano por su apoyo al asistir a este evento muy familiar que ofrece la oportunidad de disfrutar de la cocina latina y celebrar la rica herencia musical y cultural de Colombia. El 9º Festival Anual Colombiano/ “El Gran Festival Colombiano” de Chicago se llevará a cabo el viernes 14 de julio, sábado 15 y domingo 16 de julio de 2023 en los estacionamientos de la Universidad del Noreste de Illinois, 5500 N. St. Louis., Chicago IL 60625. Las puertas abren los viernes a las 3:00 p. m., los sábados y domingos Horarios: abren las puertas a las 11:00 a. m., la programación musical comienza de 12:00 p. m. a 10:00 p. m.

Esta gran fiesta cada año se organiza dentro de la conmemoración del Día de la Independencia Nacional de Colombia, el 20 de julio. Siéntase libre de usar las camisetas del equipo nacional o los trajes tradicionales regionales el domingo 16 de julio.

Beneficiarse:

El Colombian Fest crea un tributo a la historia y la cultura de Colombia, la bandera, nuestras tradiciones, nuestra gente, ya que mejora los valores cívicos y el desarrollo de una identidad común y en el que buscamos tener un impacto positivo en Chicago y el Medio Oeste. El festival brindará una oportunidad de recaudación de fondos para la Fundación NEIU e ICLC, con $ 1.00 por boleto vendido se destinará a crear un fondo de concesión de becas GFC y junto con compartir una parte de los ingresos del estacionamiento del evento.
