Wapayasos y Horripicosos is a concept created by Martín Ortega in the summer of 2008 in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The word "Wap" comes from "Wireless Application Protocol", the portals that allow browsing the Internet from mobile devices, and "ayaso", which refers to clowns. They define themselves as superheroes who hide their identity behind clown costumes, with powers such as Justice (GOLD), Health (PLATINUM), Love (DIAMOND) and Communication (The Robot Child "WBOT").
