Tropicalisimo Apache

Tropicalísimo Apache, originating from Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, is recognized as the creator of the tropical music style known as "Cumbia". Its first hit, "Kung Fu Chino", came in the 80s, followed by others like "El Lagunero", "40 Grados", "Tumbalá" and "Talento de Televisión" and their song "La Hierba Se Movía" became an international hit. Arturo Ortiz, the group's leader, has worked hard for almost four decades to bring the music of Tropicalísimo Apache to fans through live performances, videos and digital platforms and in 2024, the group begins a tour of several cities in the United States.
