Description

Formed  in 2005, Sobredosis de Soda was born in Buenos Aires as a tribute and a celebration of the music of Soda Stereo. Over the years, the band has developed an identical visual and sound reproduction that faithfully represents the image that Soda Stereo has marked throughout its trajectory.

A   commemorative show with a modern staging: a journey back in time that recreates the songs that marked several generations. An   invitation to get emotional and sing together remembering the most   important group in the history of Latin American rock.

“The group's proposal is that the show be a celebration and a memory (nostalgic),   creating an intimate atmosphere: we are three musicians fans of Soda paying tribute   to their idols. We are not looking to replace anyone, nor take their place.”
Mariano Albergoli, (Soda Overdose)

Recognized  figures of rock accompanied Sobredosis throughout these years as  guests: Marcelo Moura and Daniel Sbarra (Virus), Leo Garcia (Soda  Stereo, Avant Press), Fabián Von Quintiero (Soda Stereo, Charly Garcia,  Ratones Paranoicos), Javier Herrlein (Catupecu Machu), Gonzalo Aloras  (Fito Paez), Fernando Scarcella (Rata Blanca).

“They are perfect.  Musically, what they do added to their costumes, looks and Mariano's voice and guitar execution… Sobredosis's role, with incredible respect, is to allow several  generations that could not see Soda...see Soda”
Marcelo Moura (Virus)

The  band has toured through Latin America and Europe, taking their shows to  different cities in Argentina, Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador, Chile,  Paraguay, Bolivia, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Dominican Republic and  Spain; where they were well received and approved by the public.

“What I see from  people is a reaction of extreme joy, with smiles, a lot of nostalgia, a lot of happiness, a lot of sadness, a lot of anguish for  Gustavo… there's like a festival of sensations.”
Javier Herrlein (Ex Catupecu Machu).
