New Orleans rapper Rob49's music vividly portrays the world of street hustling and intense experiences drawn directly from his own journey, covering struggles and successes. Despite starting his rap career in 2020, he rapidly crafted an extensive body of work, releasing mixtapes regularly and culminating in the 2023 studio project, 4GOD II. Born in 1999 in New Orleans, Rob49 was raised in the housing projects intersecting the city's fourth and ninth wards, which inspired the inclusion of "49" in his stage name. While he rapped casually throughout high school, it wasn't until 2020 that he officially recorded any music. Recognizing his talent after spontaneously joining a friend's recording session, Rob started his own recording sessions just days later.
