Rkm Y Ken-Y

Rakim & Ken-Y is a renowned reguetón duo formed in 2003 by José Nieves (Rakim) and Kenny Vázquez (Ken-Y). They pioneered successfully fusing conventional pop music with Puerto Rican street reguetón rhythms, managing to expose this style to an international audience. Their innovative sound continues to influence successful artists of the genre, such as CNCO, J Balvin and Maluma. Despite breaking up in 2013, they announced their official return in June 2017 through Pina Records. Their successful career spanned Latin America, the United States and Spain.
