Rkm & Ken-Y

Rakim & Ken-Y is a standout reggaeton duo formed in 2003 by José Nieves (Rakim) and Kenny Vázquez (Ken-Y). They pioneered successfully fusing conventional pop music with the street rhythms of Puerto Rican reggaeton, succeeding in exposing this style to an international audience. Their innovative sound continued to influence successful artists of the genre, like CNCO, J Balvin and Maluma. Although they split in 2013, they announced their official return in June 2017 through Pina Records. Their successful career spanned Latin America, the United States, and Spain.
