With 80 years of experience, the Marimba Orquesta Maya Excélsior is fundamental in promoting the traditional sound of Guatemala throughout the country. Their originality and skill in performing their compositions have earned them recognition and praise from many spectators, both live and on digital platforms. This group, composed of members of the Salazar Acuña family, is distinguished by the exceptional ability of two sisters in the interpretation of this indigenous instrument.
