Malacates Trebol Shop Y Mas

While grunge dominated the global music scene, a group of teenagers named Malacates Trébol Shop started experimenting in an abandoned warehouse in Guatemala City. It was 1997 and they combined their musical influences: ska, rock, boleros, hip hop, cumbia and reggae, creating songs that they recorded and sent to local radios with little expectation. However, their songs made many people dance and jump in countries such as Switzerland, Italy, Germany, the United States, Mexico and Central America, covering styles from two-tone and reggae to cumbia and rock.
