Malacates Trebol Shop & Sond Armonia

While grunge dominated the global music scene, a group of teenagers called Malacates Trébol Shop began experimenting in an abandoned warehouse in Guatemala City. It was 1997 and they combined their musical influences: ska, rock, boleros, hip hop, cumbia and reggae, creating songs that they recorded and sent to local radio stations with little expectation. However, their songs have made many people dance and jump in countries such as Switzerland, Italy, Germany, United States, Mexico and Central America, covering styles from two tone and reggae to cumbia and rock.
