Los Rugar, emerged in Ecatepec de Morelos in 2001, have a musical history that dates back to the roots of their founder, Ruperto Ruiz Ruiz, originally from Oaxaca. Over time, his sons Eliezer, Juan Oscar, Antonio and Cesar joined him, forming the group Los Ruíz. The love for music and the positive energy of their audience prompted them to record their first album, highlighting the interpretation of "Loco por ti" by Marco Antonio Solís. This milestone marked a change in their name, going from Los Ruíz to Los Rugar, in honor of their surnames (Ruiz García). They began to gain recognition in different states such as Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro and Michoacán, leaving a lasting mark on the regional Mexican music scene and now in the United States.
