These hits have established them as one of the best classic bands in the regional Mexican genre, both in Mexico and the United States.
Los Viejones de Linares, formed in 2016 in Linares, Nuevo León, are a renowned Mexican norteño music band composed of Homero Guerrero, Lupe Tijerina, Genaro Cruz, Edwin Sandoval, René Luna, and Gustavo Guerrero. Known for fusing traditional elements with modern touches, they have become one of the most popular norteño bands in Mexico. With three studio albums, the most recent titled "A Cada Instante", they have had notable hits like "El Palomito", "El Quemador", "La Cosecha", "Por Nuestro Bien", and "La Piedra". Their success extends through tours in Mexico, the United States, and Europe.
