Since 1982, Los Cardenales de Nuevo León started their career playing in bars, restaurants, and cantinas. They quickly gained fame with songs like "Mi cómplice", "Belleza de cantina", "Si yo fuera él" and "Que nadie sepa". These hits have established them as one of the best classic bands in the regional Mexican genre, both in Mexico and in the United States.
