The idea of creating a new group came from Jesús Alberto Ordoñez Montenegro, former drummer of Canelos de Durango, began to bring together the members of the group. Thus began in 2014 this musical journey, through social networks they gave the opportunity to all the public to choose their artistic name, winning “Canelos Jrs”, name they were given thanks to the similarity of voices with Los Canelos of Durango.
