La Mafia is a Tejano band originarily from Houston, Texas, recognized for their career as a Latin music band. They have received several Grammy Awards, including for their albums "Un million de rosas" and "En tus manos", as well as Latin Grammy Awards for "Para el pueblo" and "Nuevamente and live in Mexico". They have also been awarded eight Premios Lo Nuestro and 12 Tejano Music Awards. Founded in 1980 by Oscar De La Rosa and Armando Lichtenberger Jr., the band has maintained an original style throughout the years, with members such as Tim Ruiz, David Delagarza, Eduardo Torres, Marion Aquilina and Robbie Longoria. La Mafia has been touring extensively in Mexico and Latin America since the late 1980s, gaining international recognition.
