Kiko Rodriguez, born in Tamboril, Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, is a prominent star of bachata music. From his childhood, he showed a strong interest in music, beginning with percussion before moving on to guitar. His career took off by forming the group Los Modernos del Amargue in Canca Arriba and signing with the record company Elvin Productions/Discomania. His debut album, "Kiko Rodriguez and los Claveles Mios", catapulted him to fame with hits like "El Verde de Tus Ojos" and "Ya Te Olvide". With a successful international career, Rodriguez has become a bachata icon, standing out in the tropical music scene.
