Gerardo Coronel, corridos songwriter and exponent of the alternative movement, made his debut at the age of 14 with the song "El Guerrero". He is recognized for composing the successful corrido "La Tacoma", performed by artists such as Alfredo "El Komander" Ríos, Julián Mercado and El Bebeto. After the creation of "El Guerrero", he joined a local band in Sinaloa, but opted to go solo after two years. He recently released a new album with the standout single "Te Felicito", which has garnered millions of plays in just months on YouTube along with his other hits.
