El Jerry Gerardo Coronel

Gerardo Coronel, songwriter of corridos and exponent of the alternate movement, made his debut at 14 with the song "The Warrior". He is known for composing the successful corrido "La Tacoma", performed by artists such as Alfredo "El Komander" Ríos, Julián Mercado and El Bebeto. After creating "The Warrior", he joined a local band in Sinaloa, but chose to go solo after two years. He recently released a new album with the outstanding single "Congratulations", which has accumulated millions of plays in just months on YouTube.
