Damas Gratis is an Argentine cumbia villera group that was formed in San Fernando in 2000 under the direction of Pablo Lescano, keyboardist, composer and singer. Since then, the band has transcended its genre becoming one of the most important in Latin America, performing in big stadiums and international festivals such as Lollapalooza and Mexico's Vive Latino. Their impact has brought tropical music to various social sectors, including the United States, a feat achieved by few groups in the history of tropical music.
