SYNOPSIS: In Corina, a 20-year-old woman confined by agoraphobia is thrust into motion by a mistake that jeopardizes her job. Set in the year 2000, the film charts her reluctant odyssey through the streets of her own neighborhood and through her fears. Guided by the unexpected kindness of a co-worker, Corina’s world begins to expand. Director Urzula Barba Hopfner delicately explores how isolation, when cracked open, can reveal the courage to connect and begin again.
