Alacranes Musical, founded by Oscar Urbina Sr., originated in the late 90s in Aurora, Illinois, proudly representing the state of Durango, Mexico. With a career of 25 years, this pioneering group of the Duranguense movement remains current with 20 discography productions, including four double platinum records, eight gold and two diamond. Latin Grammy winners in 2009 and nominated for the American Grammy that same year, they have also received multiple awards such as the Latin Billboard and Premios Lo Nuestro. Currently, Alacranes Musical continues touring and creating new music.
