Description

Formed in 2005, Overdose of Soda was born in Buenos Aires as a tribute and a celebration of Soda Stereo's music. Over the years, the band has developed a visual and sound reproduction that faithfully represents the image Soda Stereo has left throughout its career.

A commemorative show with a modern staging: a journey back in time that recreates the songs that marked several generations. An invitation to get excited and sing together remembering the most important group in the history of Latin American rock.

"The band's proposal is that the show is a celebration and a nostalgic memory, create an intimate atmosphere: we are three musicians, fans of Soda, paying tribute to our idols. We are not looking to replace anyone, or take their place."
Mariano Albergoli, (Overdose of Soda)

Recognized figures of rock accompanied Overdose throughout these years as guests: Marcelo Moura and Daniel Sbarra (Virus), Leo Garcia (Soda Stereo, Avant Press), Fabian Von Quintiero (Soda Stereo, Charly Garcia, Ratones Paranoicos), Javier Herrlein (Catupecu Machu), Gonzalo Aloras (Fito Paez), Fernando Scarcella (Rata Blanca).

"They are perfect. Musically, what they do plus the costumes, the look and Mariano's voice and his guitar performance... the great role that Overdose does, with incredible respect, is to allow a lot of generations that could not see soda... to see soda"
Marcelo Moura (Virus)

The band has toured through Latin America and Europe, bringing their shows to different cities in Argentina, Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador, Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Spain; where they were received with excellent response and approval from the public.

"What I see from people is a reaction first of extreme joy, of smiles, of a lot of nostalgia, a lot of joy, a lot of sadness, a lot of anguish for Gustavo... there is like a festival of sensations."
Javier Herrlein (Ex Catupecu Machu).

Members:
