The Binomio de Oro de América, founded in 1976 by Rafael Orozco and Israel Romero in the Caribbean Region of Colombia, is an iconic vallenato group that has transcended decades. During the 80s and 90s, their popularity skyrocketed, reaching even countries like Venezuela, especially in Maracaibo, and Mexico, particularly in Monterrey. Their music has managed to connect with new generations, transforming vallenato into a culturally relevant communication channel. Rafael and Israel have been key in this success, consolidating their place in the music scene.
