Virus is an Argentinian rock band that emerged in the 1980s. It was one of the main bands of the new Argentine rock, characterized by the mixture of rock with new wave and other styles. The Moura brothers, led by Federico, were the most recognizable faces of Virus, whose lyrics filled with double entendre metaphors and their innovative music made them a unique phenomenon in the Latin American music scene. Despite the early death of Federico Moura in 1988, Virus continues to produce music, with the other original members and new additions, keeping their spirit and legacy alive.
