Tito Mercado, stage name of Alberto Mercado, is a brilliant Colombian musician specializing in the Vallenato genre. He was born in the cradle of this music, in Valledupar, Colombia, in 1970. He began his career in the 1990s in the group 'Los Fantasmas del Vallenato', where his talent as a singer and songwriter began to shine. In the year 2000, he decided to embark on a solo career, releasing the album 'Alas de libertad'. His music reverberates with the traditional melodies of his homeland and often speaks of life, love, and struggle.
