The Piano Guys, a musical phenomenon that began serendipitously in a piano store in southern Utah, is a group that has proven to have no boundaries. The quartet made up of Jon Schmidt (pianist, composer), Steven Sharp Nelson (cellist, composer), Paul Anderson (producer, videographer) and Al van der Beek (music producer, composer), has delivered daring compositions that transcend the boundaries of style and genre. Since their formal presentation in 2011, they have released five studio albums, two Christmas specials, and a fan-favorite live album, earning six number one debuts on Billboard’s classical album chart and accumulating over 1.6 billion views on YouTube.
