About Renacimiento:

Renaissance, also known as Renaissance 74, is an emblematic group of grupera music, born in the city of Houston, Texas, in 1974. The restlessness of its founder and singer, Adán Ibarra “El Negro Gangoso,” led to the creation of a fresh and straightforward musical proposal destined for the Latin community in the United States.

Their unique and unmistakable style for interpreting cumbia has been imitated throughout their musical career. Attending their presentations is a unique experience for the millions of people who have witnessed their shows in both Mexico and the United States. In addition, Renaissance has been a launching platform for countless musical groups.

Throughout their artistic career, this group has produced 30 albums and two videos. Some of their most remembered hits include 'For Santa Martha', 'But Raquel', 'The Little Trip', 'Tomato Sprig', and others. These have allowed the public to fully identify with Adán Ibarra's voice and the sound of the “Vampire” on the drums, always accompanied by great musicians.
