Maria Diaz

Blanca Maria Diaz Martinez, born on September 26, 1968 in Santiago, is a distinguished accordionist who has carved a successful career in music with Ticketon. From a young age, Maria showed a natural talent for the accordion, inspired by her father Pablo and her brother Adolfo. She formed a children's band, where she led with skill and grace, despite the accordion seemingly bigger than her. In her youth, Maria migrated to New York, where she began her artistic career under the guidance of Juan Robles, known as "Purito", a recognised tambora artist. Her story is an example of determination and passion for music, which have led her to stand out in the world of accordion. Her impact on music and dedication are often quoted as a major motivation for emerging young accordionists.
