Luisito Carrion

Luisito Carrión is one of the most respected soneros in salsa music. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Carrion has been in the music industry since he was 13 years old, starting his career with the Orquesta Kafe and Orquesta La Nativa, and then with the Grupo Concepto Latino. This talented artist has shared the stage with influential salsa personalities like Celia Cruz, Adalberto Santiago, and Santitos Colón. As part of Salsa Fever, he delivered unforgettable hits such as “Renta de Amor” and “Señores ahí va Julián”. Carrion was also part of Bobby Valentín's Orchestra, delivering hits such as “El Señor de las Señoras” and “El Gigoló”. The Sonora Ponceña and Don Perignon were also artistic homes for Carrion, before he started his solo career with MP Records, with which he produced hits like “Sin tu amor” and “La Chica Más Popular”.
