Los Horoscopos de Durango are one of the most beloved groups of the Mexican regional genre, considered icons of the Duranguense movement. The history of this successful group was started by Mr. Armando Terrazas almost three decades ago in Chicago; today, headed by Vicky and Marisol Terrazas, along with Leo Terrazas (Voice and sax), Oscar Ponce (Tamboron, keyboards), Hector Arreguin (Voice/Tambora), Roberto Marin (Keyboard Tuba-Charcheta), Martin Alonso Leyva (2nd Sax) and Hector Villasenor (Drums), they make up this young and talented group with undeniable successes throughout Mexico and the United States. Some of their achievements include: Winners of 3 Billboard Awards 2005, nominated for Album of the Year at the 2005 Latin Grammy Awards, winners of 2 Billboard Awards 2006, nominated for Album of the Year at the 2004 Latin Grammy Awards, and most recently, nominated in 2 categories for the 2007 Latin Billboard Awards. They embody an original style and talent, making Los Horoscopos de Durango one of the most solid musical groups in the industry. Their goal continues to be to do what they do best: perform their Mexican music for their fans and conquer new markets.
