Kirko Bangz

Originally from Eastside in Houston, Texas, Kirko Bangz always felt his life would take a significant turn. He initially aspired to an NBA career due to his passion for basketball, but eventually realised music was his true calling, guided by a higher power. Kirko’s journey began with storytelling, reflecting on the trials and tribulations of his upbringing, but he soon found his niche in crafting catchy melodies. While attending Prairie View A&M University, he gained recognition through his constant release of freestyle videos on Facebook, capturing the hearts of students all over Texas. His breakthrough came with the release of "What Ya Name Iz", a notable 9-minute freestyle, followed by the hit "Drank In My Cup". Kirko’s unique blend of Houston influences and melodic rap has cemented his place in the music industry, creating a distinctive sound and path for himself.
