This formation was born from the union of three brothers originally from Irámuco, Guanajuato, Mexico. They traveled to the United States at a very young age to escape economic hardships in their home country. Their peculiar musical style is defined as a fusion of hip hop with elements of traditional Mexican music. The lyrics of their songs, mainly in Spanish, talk about their life and experiences as Latinos in the United States, a sincere testimony filled with strength and feelings. They are the owners of their own independent record label, Virus Enterprises LLC, specializing in Latin hip hop productions. They chose the group's name as a phonetic transcription of 'Quinto Sol', based on an Aztec legend that suggests that the Fifth Sun will be the last to be extinguished in this existence, symbolizing the resilience and constant struggle of Latinos.
