Binomio of Gold of America is a vallenato music group, originally from Colombia. It was founded on June 16, 1976 by singer Rafael Orozco and accordionist Israel Romero. This iconic duo, throughout the 80s and 90s, gained recognition and popularity not only in Colombia, but also in Venezuela, especially in Maracaibo, and Mexico, mainly in Monterrey.
