Tigrillos is a musical group recognized in the panorama of northern Mexican cumbia. Originating from Nuevo León, Mexico, Tigrillos began their musical journey in 1995 and since then they have not stopped reaping successes. Their first album “Cumbias Con Garra I” was released in 1996 and included hits such as “Ay Esther”, “Isabel” and “Tápame”, achieving Gold Record recognition for selling over 100,000 units. Today, the members of Tigrillos are Jorge Alberto Garza on accordion, José Luis Escobedo on electric bass, Juan Francisco Vázquez as lead vocals, Gerardo Escobedo on drums, and Martín Elizondo on bajo sexto and second vocals.
