Los Yonics

Los Yonics is an emblematic romantic grupera music band formed in the 1980s. Hailing from San Luis San Pedro, Guerrero, Mexico, they jumped to fame after winning a tropical music contest in Acapulco. Known for their touching lyrics and unmistakable musical style, Los Yonics easily became one of the pioneers of romantic grupera music. They won the hearts of many with notable hits such as 'El tamarindo', 'Palabras tristes', 'Soy yo', 'And I love you', 'Petals and thorns', 'Your easy prey', and 'But you're going to regret it'. Throughout their career, they have managed to become a phenomenon both in Mexico and the United States.
